Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

This year, we will have a very dynamic congress!

In our 5th congress, our main topic will be “Locomotor System Diseases in Cats”. We will focus on orthopedics and neurology, or any disease that affects motor systems. Which means our congress will be the platform to discuss what we have to do so our cats can walk down the “catwalk” like a model, and prevent them from getting such diseases.

Our trademark special session will be called “CATWALK”. Our distinguished specialists will discuss in length all diseases and problems that cause walking disorders in cats, from nutrition to orthopedics, from neurology to endocrinology. We are inviting you to join us to dive into an endless sea of possibilities.

Meanwhile, we have listened to your requests and as a tribute to cats’ walking trends, we walked to the European Side of Istanbul to organize our 5th Congress. We will be organizing our congress in Polat Renaissance İstanbul Hotel between 9-10 October 2025, known to have a stunning view of the Marmara Sea and proven quality of service.

As per tradition, we will be starting off our congress with a session dedicated to Prof. Dr. Tuncay Altuğ where we’ll be providing our promising young colleagues with the opportunity to deliver their first presentations! As the program goes on, we will have distinguished national and international lecturers presenting the most up to date scientific content. You are invited to join us to fill yourself up with “SCIENCE”!

Our trusted sponsors will be there to support us, offer gifts and showcase their products during the length of our congress. Are you ready to come join us in this vibrant setting and discover the surprises together?

We are hoping to welcome you warmly and share all that we have.

Looking forward to seeing you all in October!

Feline Medicine Association and “CATWALK” Congress President,
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aktaş
